Service & Advocacy

You have often heard of the slogan "Think globally - act locally". This is at the core of how Zonta Clubs try to help. Local clubs will have events and participate in activities that foster our mission. We do this by doing the following:

  • Advocacy - communicating issues relating to women in our local areas
  • Service - helping with specific women's issues in our local areas by volunteering to help with everything from a home revamp for a disabled, elderly woman to gathering products for a local domestic violence shelter
  • Fundraising events - proceeds go to local scholarships, local women's charities, and a part goes towards our international biennium projects
